Weekend Gardener: Hullabloom Fest celebrates the beginning of spring
COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – A free spring event to celebrate the start of the season is happening this weekend in College Station.
“We’ve got partners from all across campus as well as the community to celebrate spring, pollinators, and just warmer weather,” said Education and outreach coordinator, Kathryn Grier.
In addition to demonstrations and activity tables for families, there will be a butterfly release during the festival.
“We’ll have about 300 butterflies and people can sign up to release one and then we’ll do that towards the end of the event,” added Grier.
Parking for the event will be different because the marron and white game will be happening simultaneously.
