Voice your opinions on local issues with the Texas A&M Agrilife Extension

BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – Have your voice heard for how the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension serves the community.

They are holding their Brazos County Texas Community Forum, and Flora Williams, a County Extension Agent, told First News at Four on Tuesday that the forum is for everyone in the community.

“We want people to come out and let us know your concerns. What are the concerns facing families? What are the concerns facing you? Agriculture, and natural resources? That way when we develop our programs, they’ll be relevant to what’s going on in our area,” she said.

Williams also said anyone is welcome to come voice their opinions on the issues of the Brazos Valley.

“Here in Brazos County, we do this every five years. So we’re getting ready to wrap up our five years from the last time,” she said.

The forum is on April 18, but you need to sign up by April 12 to participate.

You can sign up for the event here.
