Tomb of the Unknown Solider Never Forget Garden dedicated at Veterans park
COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – Community members along with elected officials gathered at Veterans Park in College Station for the dedication of a new memorial Tuesday.
The Tomb of the Unknown Solider Never Forget Garden honors all armed forces veterans who gave their lives in service to America.
“I’m very happy and hope people will continue to come back and enjoy the experience,” said Advisor for the Never Forget Garden, Heather White.
Tell us this will be a local place where families can come to honor loved ones who are missing in action.
“I want people to remember the major purpose of this is never forget those who have been lost unknown here and overseas,” added White.
Organizers say there have been native and pollinator plants put in place around the garden to keep it beautiful.
