Texas A&M police find suspect wanted for burglary, attempted sexual assault
COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – Sources tell News 3′s Rusty Surette that Texas A&M Police have arrested Christian Young, 21, of College Station for a burglary and attempted sexual assault of a student at Mosher Hall.
The victim woke up in her dorm room at 5 a.m. on Sunday and said she saw Young armed with a weapon.
She told police Young threatened to sexually assault her but she kicked him and he left the room.
She later discovered money inside her room was missing.
Young was arrested Wednesday and is in jail now facing multiple charges including Criminal Trespass, Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, and two counts of Burglary of a Habitation.
It’s unclear how he gained entry into the building.
KBTX confirmed Young is not a student at Texas A&M or affiliated with the university in any way.
