Texas A&M, College Station, Bryan ISDs cancel school Tuesday
BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – Several school districts in the Brazos Valley and Texas A&M have canceled school for Tuesday.
Both Bryan and College Station ISDs canceled school on Jan. 16 due to the weather, all schools and facilities will be closed. The districts said they are monitoring weather conditions for Wednesday, Jan. 17.

Texas A&M sent out a CodeMaroon stating non-essential campus operations are suspended and classes are canceled for Jan. 16. There will be no classes at the Bryan-College Station campus, but some employees may work remotely. Aggie Dining will have modified hours of service. For more information, click here.

All non-essential campus operations and classes are suspended at the RELLIS Campus on Tuesday as well.
Somerville ISD and Gause ISD have also canceled school on Tuesday.
“Due to the hazardous road conditions that are expected to continue in our area, Somerville ISD will be closed on Tuesday, January 16, 2024. All extra-curricular activities for Tuesday will be canceled as well,” a Facebook post from Somerville officials said.
“Out of an abundance of caution for the safety of students and staff, there will be no school at Gause ISD on Tuesday, Jan. 16. Please stay safe!” Gause ISD posted on Facebook.
