TDCJ inmate back in custody after escaping prison
ROSHARON, Texas (KBTX) – Just hours after escaping from a Brazoria County prison, a TDCJ inmate is now back in custody.
Calvin Lee Patterson, 23, was found just over two miles from the Stringfellow Unit in Rosharon, after TDCJ scent dogs tracked him.
He escaped at around 4 a.m. Tuesday morning.
Patterson is a probationer out of Harris County serving a sentence for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
According to the press release announcing his capture, Patterson will face felony escape charges.
