Summer Museum Trail highlights spots in the Brazos Valley

BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – The summer Museum Trail is back bringing fun for the whole family. It’s highlighting a variety of museums across the Brazos Valley.

Nicole Cross with the Brazos Valley Museum Collective joined The Three to talk about the seasonal event. Cross said it tries to get people out to learn about the community and its history as well as encourage education throughout the summer.

“We really want to highlight all of the great museums in the area, we have so many here in BCS but we have even more beyond,” Cross said. “There’s even some, where, you can hit all the museums and galleries around A&M and make a whole day around it,” Cross said.

There’s even a giveaway on Labor Day for those visiting the museums.

“Just to enter all you have to do is scan a QR code that’s posted in the museums, fill out a couple of questions, and then you are entered in to win and if you visit six or more even better, that’s how we really try to get people to win the raffle,” Cross said.

Cross said they hope to continue the museum trail for years to come. Those interested can find out more information at this link.
