Strong winds blow 18-wheeler onto pickup truck near Franklin
ROBERTSON COUNTY, Texas (KBTX) – Wednesday’s storm that pushed through Roberston County played a role in a crash that closed Highway 79 near Franklin.
The Texas Department of Public Safety says a Ford F250 was crushed after strong winds pushed an 18-wheeler on top of it.
The driver of the Freightliner was transported to CHI St. Joesph in Bryan with suspected minor injuries.

The highway was closed as crews worked to clear the scene.
