Stolen 18-wheeler crashes into Brenham DPS Office, serious injuries reported
BRENHAM, Texas (KBTX) – Multiple people are seriously injured after an 18-wheeler crashed into the Texas Department of Public Safety Office in Brenham, according to DPS.
Sources responding to the scene tell KBTX the 18-wheeler was stolen.
According to those sources, three people are in critical condition and were taken by medical helicopters to the hospital, two people are in stable condition but taken in an ambulance to the hospital and five people were treated on the scene for minor injuries. The driver of the 18-wheeler was also treated on the scene.
People should stay clear of the area as investigators and medical personnel respond to the area, according to DPS.
