St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church Performs Gabriel Faure Requiem
BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – The St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church is putting on their performance of the Gabriel Faure Requiem later this month.
It is a collaboration between St. Andrew’s and various other choirs. What makes the event unique is there will be performers from all age groups. The choirs include the Blinn College-Brenham Choir and the El Sistema Houston Hispanic Symphonic Children’s Choir.
“It’s a beautiful master work and not what you would think of a requiem,” said Linda Patterson, the church’s the music director.
The performance is at 5 p.m. on Palm Sunday, March 24. It is free and open to the public.
