Significant storm damage reported in Robertson, Milam Counties

FRANKLIN, Texas (KBTX) – A severe storm that pushed through parts of the Brazos Valley Wednesday night has left a trail of damage in Milam and Robertson County.

According to radio reports, there are multiple trees that have fallen on vehicles and homes along Highway 79 between Hearne and Franklin in Robertson County. There is also a report of a vehicle crash along this stretch of highway that has injured multiple people.

Continuing the conversation on FB and as needed on air. Many in Brazos County may miss out on the rain/wind. Primary concern over the next couple hours is for strong, straightline wind, but we’re watching these storms for you.

Power outages have been reported in areas of Robertson County including some areas of Calvert and Hearne.

In Milam County, we are receiving reports of trees down and homes damaged after the same storm pushed into that area around 7 p.m.

The same storm also left significant damage in Temple including damage at the mall, according to our sister station KWTX.

KWTX also has obtained video of what appears to be a tornado touching down Wednesday evening.
