Rudder High School Seniors celebrate final day of school with ‘Senior Walk’
BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – Rudder High School Seniors celebrated their final day of school with ‘Senior Walk’ Thursday.
Seniors, staff and families celebrated the last day by honoring the graduating students.
“I’m nervous about tomorrow, but today I’m excited and ready to go,” said senior, David Corral Enriquez.
The hallways were lined with students that cheered on their peers, and afterwards they were greeted with hugs and high fives from their families who were waiting outside.
“I saw a lot of smiles a lot of tears, it’s really good for their classmates and younger peers to be able to celebrate them,” Rudder High School Principal, Rachel Layton said.
Because Thursday was the last day of school, participating graduates got the chance to go home early.
