Rockdale man receives max sentences for sexual assault of a child

BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – A 22-year-old Milam County man received the maximum prison sentence for two counts of Sexual Assault of a Child.

Jamarr Zamorra pleaded guilty in a Brazos County court for two sexual assaults that happened in November 2022.

The Robertson County Sheriff’s Office began the investigation which revealed Zamorra had not one but two underage victims. The College Station Police Department later took over the investigation.

Jamarr Zamorra was sentenced to 20 years in prison for both counts. This is in addition to the three counts of Sexual Assault of a Child from a 2020 case out of Milam County, where he received 20 years prison time for each count.
