Rockdale City Councilman arrested on DWI charge
ROCKDALE, Texas (KBTX) – A city councilman in Rockdale was arrested this week and charged with driving while intoxicated with an open alcohol container.
The arrest was first reported by KRXT radio in Rockdale.
Online jail records confirmed Kyle Walker, 35, was arrested on Wednesday by Rockdale police and booked into the Milam County jail around noon. He was released approximately two hours later on a $10,000 bond.
Details of his arrest were not immediately available.
KBTX did email Walker, the city manager, and the mayor to ask for statements related to the arrest and an update on his status as a city councilman.
