Registration deadline for The Big Event is quickly approaching
COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – The deadline to be registered for The Big Event is quickly approaching.
The Big Event is the nation’s largest one-day student-led service event. Around 15,000 volunteers are expected to participate.
“They’ll go do various jobs inside and outside of resident’s homes around Bryan-College Station,” Recruitment Executive Jacob DeLeon said. “Whether that be painting, mulching, weeding, basically anything without power tools.”
Residents can register here for job requests. You can also get more information by calling (979) 845-9618. The deadline to sign up is Sunday, Feb. 11.

“We appreciate the residents around us and that’s what we use this event for,” Recruitment Executive Juliana Perez said.
The Big Event takes place March 23, 2024.
