Rainfall forces closure of Veterans Park overflow parking lot for State 7on7 Tournament
COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – Thursday’s rainfall left a mess at Veterans Park forcing police to close the overflow parking lot Friday.
College Station Police posted to Facebook Friday morning announcing the closure.
“We encourage all 7-on-7 players, coaches, families, and friends to carpool to the park,” the post read.
Hotels across from the park contacted KBTX to remind people their lots are for paying guests and not event parking.
