Purchase art, provide a meal at Empty Bowls Jr.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – The Arts Council of the Brazos Valley is hosting an event designed to fill your stomach and your heart.

Empty Bowls Jr. is Saturday, March 2 from 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Allen Honda, located at 2450 Earl Rudder Fwy in College Station.

Enjoy delicious soup from local restaurants, music by Bryan High Mariachi Band and A&M Consolidated Middle School Orchestra, and handmade bowls by students in the Brazos Valley.

For a $10 donation, you’ll receive an artistic bowl and a cup of delicious soup.

With the goal of “kids helping kids”, all proceeds from this event support local in-school food pantries and Arts Council Children’s Programs.

You do not need a ticket to attend Empty Bowls Jr., but you can learn more at acbv.org.
