Physicians Centre Hospital earns awards for excellence in joint replacement and patient care
BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – A local hospital is being recognized for its work in joint replacement surgery and quality of patient care.
The Physicians Centre Hospital received two awards from Healthgrades, a company that connects patients with reviews and ratings for healthcare providers.
They were honored with the Joint Replacement Excellence Award and the Outstanding Patient Experience Award.
A representative from Healthgrades said the hospital’s high marks earned them a spot in the top 15%.
”You feel very good when patients come and get that care because you know that care is consistent and reproducible. So every patient that comes gets that same experience,” hospital CEO Harold Engle said.
The Physicians Centre Hospital is the only hospital in the Brazos Valley to earn both awards.
