OPAS presents “To Kill A Mockingbird”
BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – The 51st season of OPAS continues this January with two performances of Aaron Sorkin’s adaptation of Harper Lee’s To Kill A Mockingbird.
“Nothing happens in the play that doesn’t happen in the book. It’s very true to the story,” OPAS Executive Director Anne Black said. “But [Sorkin] really has taken Atticus [Finch] and humanized him.”
Emmy-winner Richard Thomas, a prolific award-winning actor with a body of work that includes the iconic TV series “The Waltons,” will star as Atticus Finch.
