NCAA Baseball bracket revealed, Texas A&M hosts Regional

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – The Texas A&M Baseball team earned the No. 3 national seed and the right to host a regional in the NCAA Baseball Tournament.

The Aggies (40-13) will open the regional against Grambling State (26-26) on Friday at noon. The game can be seen on ESPN+. The Tigers won the SWAC Tournament.

Texas (35-22) and Louisiana (40-18) will square off in the other first-round game Friday at 5 p.m. on ESPNU.

The regional is double-elimination.

The 64-team field was revealed Monday morning. No. 1 Tennessee, No. 2 Kentucky, and No. 4 North Carolina joined the Aggies in the top four seeds.

The winner of the Bryan-College Station Regional will advance to play the winner of the UC Santa Barbara Regional in the Super Regionals. The winner of the best-of-three Super Regional will advance to the College World Series in Omaha, Neb.

This is the third straight NCAA tournament bid for Texas A&M and 38th in program history.

Limited Lawn/SRO and/or Section 12 all-session tickets will be available to the public starting Tuesday, May 28 at 10 a.m. Once all-session is no longer available, please check 12th Man Foundation website prior to each game regarding the availability of individual tickets, according to a release from Texas A&M.
