Man arrested for hoax calls to Washington Co. schools
BRENHAM, Texas (KBTX) – Brenham police have made an arrest connected to an incident in Sept. 2023 that prompted several schools, including Brenham High School to go on lockdown.
Police tell KBTX 35-year-old Anthony Carrasco is facing a charge of making a false report. Carrasco is currently being held in the Harris Co. Jail facing other charges. His transfer to Washington Co. is pending.
Lt. Curtiss Schoen said the incident prompted a large law enforcement response when the report was made.
Schoen reiterated a gun was never found at any of the schools the calls were made about.
