Man arrested after shooting dog in parking lot of Navasota business
NAVASOTA, Texas (KBTX) – The Navasota Police Department has arrested a man who fired multiple shots in the parking lot of a business along Highway 6 on Saturday morning.
The man, who wasn’t identified in a news release, was quickly arrested by law enforcement just after 7 a.m. in the parking lot of Annie’s along Highway 6 at 105.
The Navasota Police Department is investigating the scene and questioning witnesses. At this time, officers have located a deceased dog in the parking lot. The person in custody will be charged with deadly conduct, disorderly conduct, and animal cruelty.
