“Lucky 21″ Gala to support Down Syndrome Association of the Brazos Valley
BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – Save the date for the Down Syndrome Association of Brazos Valley’s “Lucky 21″ Gala.
The gala is on Saturday, May 4 at the Hilton College Station. Doors open at 5 p.m. and entertainment starts at 6 p.m.
Each ticket holder will receive dinner served by Down Syndrome Association members, and $1,000 in funny money to play two poker tables, two dice tables, two roulette tables and eight blackjack tables.
The funny money can be turned in for raffle tickets at the end of the night for some great prizes.
The gala will also feature a band, live auction, silent auction, wine pull and a balloon pop.
This is the biggest fundraiser of the year for the Down Syndrome Association of Brazos Valley so they can host socials, education classes, healthy living classes, a Christmas party and Summer Camp.
The event benefits all special needs individuals and their families in seven Brazos Valley counties. The DSABV does not turn anyone away and does not require a membership fee.
