Leon County residents displaced after fire destroys home

BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – Some Leon County residents are displaced after a fire destroyed their home early Monday morning.

According to Leon County Emergency Management, it happened off Highway 79. Luckily all of the people got out, but some of the animals inside, four dogs and a cat, did not make it. There were also two dogs who made it out safely.

Two of the residents were taken to a hospital for respiratory problems.

No word yet on what may have started the fire.

Bryan Police investigating after a vehicle was hit by gunfire
