Leon County emergency responders have busy Monday afternoon
LEON COUNTY, Texas (KBTX) – Firefighters in Leon County had a very busy Monday afternoon dealing with fires and storm damage.
A communications tower at the fire station in Hilltop Lakes was knocked over and fell into power lines resulting in a power outage in the area.
Firefighters also responded to a home fire on FM 977 between FM 39 and I-45.
A tree down was reported across Highway 79.
There was also a vehicle hauler that caught fire along I-45 near the Leona exit.
