Lee County Sheriff’s Posse gearing up to host ‘Fury on the 6th’ rodeo event

GIDDINGS, Texas (KBTX) – A professional bull riding event and several other events are coming to the LCSP arena in Giddings this Saturday.

On July 6, the Leon County Sheriff’s posse will host their annual fury on the 6th rodeo event.

“You come out and see 35 bull riders and it’s just energy,” said Rodeo Chairman, Mark Goodson.

In addition to classic Bull riding and Freestyle Bullfighting, there will be fan favorites like Shark Cage, Mutton Bustin’, and even Bull Poker.

“There’s a plastic table and 4 chairs out there with 4 guys who paid an entry fee,” said Goodson. “After its setup, we turn a bull loose and the last man sitting wins $1,000″ he added.
