Law enforcement activity shuts down street in Bryan neighborhood

BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – A woman that deputies were attempting to detain Thursday afternoon in a Bryan neighborhood is now in custody.

The Brazos County Sheriff’s Office says deputies found a wanted person in the area of Curtis Street in Bryan between Boonville Road and Pecan Ridge Drive.

When they attempted to arrest her, deputies say she retreated into a home and stayed inside for 30 minutes before they were able to talk her out of the home.

She was then taken into custody.

A spokesman for the Brazos County Sheriff’s Office says this incident is also being worked with the Burleson County Sheriff’s Office.

No other specifics were immediately available.
