Huntsville PD makes arrest in ‘The Sign Shop’ Arson case
HUNTSVILLE, Texas (KBTX) – The Huntsville Police Department (HPD) made an arrest Thursday in connection to a June Arson case.
A fire at The Sign Shop, situated at the intersection of Smither Drive and Highway 45 North Feeder Road, was reported June 2. It was then investigated by Huntsville police, the Houston Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms (ATF) and other area officials.
Through the investigation, officials found evidence that suggested the fire was set intentionally.
Paul Kinser, 51, was identified as a person of interest in the case and authorities gathered enough information to charge him with second-degree felony Arson. He is now being held at the Walker County Jail. A bond has not yet been set for this charge.
