Highway 30 closed in Grimes County due to flooding

GRIMES COUNTY, Texas (KBTX) – Grimes County officials have closed State Highway 30 near County Road 244 because of water flowing over the roadway.

A KBTX crew in the community of Carlos noted multiple locations on Highway 30 where water was covering the roadway.

There is no timetable for when the road will reopen. Drivers are asked to avoid the area and find an alternate route.
