Habitat for Humanity to hold breakfast program

BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – In two weeks, you can get a chance to learn more about the work being done right here in the community by Habitat for Humanity.

The Community Builders Breakfast will be held on Feb. 28 from 7:30-8:30 a.m. at the College Station Hilton.

Carl Orozco, a member of BCS Habitat for Humanity, joined First News at Four on Wednesday to discuss the breakfast and the unique way to get a ticket to the event.

“It is free for anybody to attend. But you do have to have an invitation. You simply contact me via phone. Go to the BCS Habitat for Humanity website. Leave me a voicemail, reach out to me, and once you’ve reached out to me I can get you an invitation. You can sit at my table or we have other tables that are available there,” Orozco said.

The event has speakers who will discuss what Habitat for Humanity does for the community, and how to get involved.

You can go to the BCS Habitat for Humanity website here.

You can contact Orozco via email at corozco@habitatbcs.org or via phone at 979-823-7200 ext. 104.
