Grimes County highway lane closures began Tuesday
NAVASOTA, Texas (KBTX) – Attention Grimes County drivers, there are going to be some lane closures beginning Tuesday, Jan. 30.
TxDOT’s contractor will set up lane closures on southbound SH 6 over BS 6 on the south end of Navasota. The ramp connecting northbound SH 6 to BS 6 will also be closed and a signed detour will be in place.
These closures are for maintenance work on the bridge and the upgrade of the bridge rails.
Work at this location is expected to last around five weeks and is one part of five bridge location upgrades.
