Grand jury hands up indictment for robbery suspect
BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – A Brazos County grand jury is handing up an indictment for a man accused of robbing a store clerk earlier this year.
Police arrested Jeremiah Peterson in January after a foot chase through a Bryan neighborhood.
Peterson reportedly pointed a pistol at a store clerk before leaving with stolen items.
He was also wanted for an assault incident the Brazos County Sheriff’s Office was investigating.
According to the arrest report, Peterson “has a history of being violent with civilians and law enforcement.”
He remains in jail on bonds totaling $117,000.
