Grand jury hands up indictment for murder suspect

BRAZOS COUNTY, Texas (KBTX) – A Brazos County grand jury handed up an indictment for a man accused of murder.

Namarion Jackson was a juvenile at the time of his arrest, so his identity was not released. But KBTX has learned that he has since turned 18 and now we know he is the one connected to the murder of Brandon Hall.

Hall was murdered back in August 2023. His body was found in the middle of Pleasant Hill Road with a gunshot wound.

Both Jackson and another woman Nariah Reeves, are charged with murder in connection with Hall’s death.

According to a probable cause affidavit, Reeves admitted that all three of them went out into a rural area of the county on the night of Tuesday, Aug. 1 to shoot guns. Reeves says Jackson handed her a pistol to shoot a deer, but she handed the firearm back to him and he then shot Hall.

Reeves was indicted in November 2023.

Both Jackson and Reeves are being held in jail on bond.

Jackson’s bond is set at $118,000.

Reeves’ bond is set at $405,000.
