Golfing on the Green fundraiser to help Six Kittens Rescue
COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – Think you have what it takes to take home the goods? Come out and put your skills to the test at Six Kitten Rescue’s first annual Golfing on the Green!
“The greenspace behind Downtown Uncorked will be riddled with bottles thanks to Downtown Uncorked and Spec’s on University. Vino, Whisky, Vodka, you name it! It will be up to you to determine what you get,” said co-found Mallori Girard.
“How do you win? Take home what you tap! Participants will be given 3 chances to putt a ball in the direction of their desired bottle. If you tap that bottle, it is all yours, baby! You can even purchase a “Putt till you Win” ticket, which allows you an unlimited number of putts until you win a bottle,” said Girard.
You will want to get to this event early, because once a bottle is tapped, it is removed from the field of play!
This is a family-friendly event, but you must be 21+ with valid ID to golf. Downtown Uncorked will be open for regular business and there will be other yard games available to play.
The event is Saturday, April 13 at 3 p.m. at 1551 Greens Prairie Road in College Station.
