GCSO: Houston men arrested for breaking into local Dollar General store

CARLOS, Texas (KBTX) – The Grimes County Sheriff’s Office arrested two Houston men early Monday morning who reportedly broke into a Dollar General store.

The burglary happened around 2 a.m. at the Carlos location on Highway 30 near FM 244.

Deputies found the suspects in their getaway car on SH 30 at SH 90 and took both men into custody.

The driver was identified as Terrance Benjamine and the passenger was Kenneth Morris.

Deputies say they may be linked to other burglaries in the area.
