“I’m just excited to hit the ground running and continue to cover the Aggies at KBTX,” Brown said.

Brown will focus on writing original content for KBTX.com and the KBTX Sports App.

“I love telling a good story, writing a good lede, and really getting in-depth with some of the things that go around Aggie Athletics,” emphasized Brown. “I’m really excited to get to tell stories in multiple different ways at KBTX.”

Brown said he has been impressed with the media contingent following the Oklahoma Sooners. The Sooners and the University of Texas Longhorns are the two newest members of the Southeaster Conference.

“There was just droves of cameras in front of all of the players,” Brown recalled.

On Tuesday, Brown caught up with Southeastern Conference Coordinator of Officials John McDaid to talk about the “horns down” and what penalties teams or players will face if they flash the hand signal.

The Texas Longhorns will speak with the media on Wednesday. Texas A&M will be among the last teams to speak on Thursday.

You’ll find all of Brown’s articles in the sports section of KBTX.com and the KBTX Sports App, available to download in the Google Play or Apple App Store.
