Focus at Four: Advice on filing taxes from a local financial planner
BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – Monday, the IRS announced starting January 29th, it will begin accepting and processing 2023 federal income tax returns.
For some tax season can feel overwhelming. To explain more on how taxes are filed and steps you can take, KBTX sat down with a local financial advisor, Josh Landman.
“Anything you do with money you want to have accounted for. It all adds up to your taxable income. Big ones, when you work somewhere, W-2′s, 1099′s. I tell people if you do something big with money, account for it, be aware of it, and be ready to file it in your tax return,” said Landman.
The last day to file 2023 taxes is April 15th, 2024.
