First United Methodist Church to host Grocery Giveaway Feb. 17
COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – First United Methodist Church is once again hosting a Grocery Giveaway. On Saturday, Feb. 17 at 11:30 a.m. anyone who needs food can show up to the church in a drive-thru format.
“We’ve been doing this since June of last year,” Pastor Kefentse Risher said. “So we’ve worked out all the kinks.”
The church is located at 1125 Wellborn Rd. in College Station.
Volunteers are always needed. Risher said anyone looking to help should show up to the church at 10 a.m. to get them signed in and instructed on what they are doing.
