Early week rainfall totals from the first round of buckets

BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – Not a bad haul for a day’s work! After briefly reaching the 90 degree mark at Easterwood Field Monday, rain started and didn’t stop until well after sunset. Unfortunately, the automatic sensor at the airport malfunctioned for a portion of the storm, leaving an “unofficial” total of just under half an inch, but along with WeatherWatcher reports and radar estimated rainfall, we approximate that about 1.5″ fell at the Easterwood site today.

Above are the official totals, and below we will tally WeatherWatcher reports from all over the Brazos Valley.

• Bryan near Miramont: 1.75″

• Bremond: 3″

• Indian Lakes (South College Station): 2.3″

• Carlos: 2.51″

• Anderson: 1″

• Roans Prairie: 2.5″

• Flynn: 1.0″

• South Nantucket (South Brazos County): 2.5″
