Drug raid in Rockdale includes major meth seizure
ROCKDALE, Texas (KBTX) – A large quantity of methamphetamine is off the streets in Milam County.
The Milam County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant around 11 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 1 in the 800 block of San Gabriel in Rockdale.
They recovered 12.5 pounds of illegal narcotics, with about 9 pounds of that believed to be methamphetamines.
The search, in cooperation with Bastrop County Sheriff’s Office and Rockdale Police, was related to drug activity at the residence. No one was at the home at the time the warrant was executed.
This investigation is ongoing.
