DPS investigating fatal Washington County crash
WASHINGTON COUNTY, Texas (KBTX) – The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating a fatal one-vehicle crash in Washington County.
According to DPS, the crash happened on Monday, July 1, at approximately 8:07 p.m. on Old Chappell Hill Road.
The initial investigation showed a 2009 Chevrolet Colorado was traveling westbound, entering a curve at an unsafe speed, leaving the road, and striking a metal fence. The driver was unrestrained and ejected, according to DPS.
The driver, Michael Dudich, 43, of Brenham, was pronounced dead at the scene.
DPS said the investigation is ongoing.
