College Station’s Fun for All Playground hosted its annual Bowl-a-Thon tournament
COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) -College Station’s Fun for All Playground hosted its annual Bowl-a-Thon at Grand Station Entertainment.
The money raised at the Bowl-a-Thon event will help fund Phase 3 of the Fun for All playground, which includes a fishing pier, quiet area, and stick forest.
There was bowling, food, and a silent auction at the event.
The event sponsor, H-E-B of Bryan-College Station, said there were twelve teams bowling today with people of any disabilities.
“Our theme here is anyone can bowl, and we truly believe that if anyone can bowl, anyone can play and we really want to get that message across and that’s why this event is important to us,” said Diane Besosa, H-E-B BCS Area Community Coordinator.
H-E-B told KBTX they want the Fun for All Playground to be for everyone to enjoy, young and old.
