College Station Police Department asking victims of concert parking scam to come forward
COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – The College Station Police Department is asking individuals who were affected by a concert parking scam Saturday to file a report.
On the afternoon of the George Strait concert, police confirmed that individuals posing as parking attendants were charging people to park in lots at apartment complexes, such as Treehouse Apartments.
Those individuals were not authorized to do so, which resulted in several cars being towed.
Police say suspects have been identified, but they are asking anyone who may have fallen victim to this scam to come forward and file a report.
