College Station ISD high school students celebrate ‘Senior Walk’
COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – Dozens of seniors from College Station ISD high schools gathered at their former elementary schools for a trip down memory lane.
Our cameras were there to celebrate as graduating students walked down the halls of both Spring Creek and South Knoll Elementary Schools.
“It’s been really fun for me at all different stages and different schools I guess it’s just a lot to look forward to in life in general,” said A&M Consolidated Senior, Madison Jackson.
During the event teachers and current elementary students lined up to cheer and give high fives to graduates.
“It’s exciting to see the progression of where they get to go, they get to be seniors they get to be high schoolers they go to college after this,” said Spring Creek Elementary Principal, Mindy Chapa.
This year marked the first class of Spring Creek Elementary School students to graduate since it opened in 2015.
