College Station Business celebrates 50 years
COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – The mayors of Bryan and College Station honored a longtime business in the area Friday.
Charli Light opened her clothing store on July 12, 50 years ago, and her boutique Charli has been a staple on University Drive since then.
“It’ll take me a bit to totally absorb it, but I need to say I’m very humbled and grateful,” Light said.
Bryan Mayor Bobby Gutierrez and College Station Mayor John Nichols marked the occasion with the proclamation of Charli Light Day.
