Caldwell-Burleson County Lions Club Denim Dinner and Dance
BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – Next month, the Caldwell-Burleson County Lions Club is putting on the Levi’s and sitting down to eat, all to benefit the community.
Johanna Elliott, the President of the Lion’s Club, joined us Monday on First News at Four.
“Lions are first known for sight, anything with vision. We do eye-testing, we take care of anybody that needs glasses, we even recycle glasses. We also work with hunger, so we support our food banks. We work with childhood cancer, we work with diabetes, and we also do things for our environment,” said Elliott.
The event will be held on Saturday, Feb. 24 at the Caldwell Civic Center.
There will be a live and silent auction and a raffle.
