Bryan man turns himself in to police in connection to organized narcotics case
COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – A Bryan man turned himself in to police following a warrant for his arrest in connection to a narcotics investigation. Five others were were already arrested in connection to the investigation.
Cooper Currie, 28, reportedly turned himself in to the College Station Police Department (CSPD) Monday morning.
He’s accused of being part of a group of suspects who engaged in organized criminal activity including fraudulently pressing hundreds of Adderall and Xanax pills as well as possessing marijuana, cocaine, ketamine, and more.
The group was booked into the Brazos County Jail over the course of four months during the investigation, with collective bonds totaling more than $130,000.
Currie was booked into the Brazos County Jail Monday morning on charges including two counts of Possession of Marijuana, Engagement in Criminal Activity, and four counts of Manufacturing/ Delivering a Controlled Substance. His bonds total at $115,000.
