Bryan ISD Education Foundation announces headliner for Hometown Reunion
BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – The Bryan ISD Hometown Reunion is returning this August for its second annual fundraising event.
Board President Alison Prince joined Rusty Surette on News 3 at 6 Tuesday to announce the headliner.
“Hey everybody! I am John Michael Montgomery and I will see you at the Hometown Reunion on Aug. 17,” the country music artist announced in a video shared exclusively on KBTX.
The Hometown Reunion is the Education Foundation’s biggest fundraiser of the year.
“We started this last year all to support our teachers and children in Bryan ISD,” Prince said. “The Education Foundation exists to provide scholarship and teacher grants to Bryan ISD teachers and students.”
Last year’s headliner was Steve Warner, and Prince said this year, they had to try and outdo themselves.
“We are going to have more seats available, more seats available, so it’s just going to be a great event,” Prince said.
The event will include a raffle, live auction, cash bar, dinner, and lots of dancing.
“With a name like Hometown Reunion, it’s about bringing everyone in the community together, not even if you are just from Bryan, but College Station and the entire Brazos Valley come out and get together and have a good time listening to amazing music, reminiscing old times making new memories and just having a great time,” Prince said.
The event is on August 17 at Legends Event Center in Bryan. You can purchase tickets here.
