Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra to present Carmen

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – The Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra will be kicking off the new year with performances from Grammy-nominated guitarists.

BVSO presents Carmen on Sunday, January 21 at 5 p.m. at Rudder Theatre.

Enjoy beloved tunes from Bizet’s ‘Carmen’ and a performance by Grammy-nominated guitarists Isaac Bustos and Alejandro Montiel in a BVSO Spanish-inspired program.

The concert features Manuel de Falla’s enchanting ‘The Three-Cornered Hat’, along with Joaquin Rodrigo’s mesmerizing ‘Concierto Madrigal for Two Guitars’, and of course Bizet’s Carmen suites No.1&2.

There will be a pre-concert reception in the Rudder Exhibit Hall before the concert. At 4 p.m., there will be a cash bar as well as some light appetizers.

Tickets are $55 for adults and $10 for students and children.
