Brazos County Election Officials prepare for a busy voting season

BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – With primary voting just around the corner Brazos County election officials have a busy schedule ahead of them.

Starting Tuesday, Jan. 16, county election staff will go through a mock voting process, checking to make sure the results come out as expected.

KBTX will have a behind-the-scenes look at how the process takes place.

On Jan. 23, there is a public informational meeting to share facts about the election, people who attend will have a chance to ask questions.

Next week Brazos County elections administrator Trudy Hancock will be in studio to discuss how local elections work.

The Primary Election will be on March 5.
